Meep loves reading books and then immediately forgetting every word that they just read. The tiny selection of neurons in the back of their mind that doesn't forget is technically a literary genius though. Meep just happens to prefer a life of simplicity. When the're not reading, you'll typically find them trying to hang out with their roommates, attempting to create their own blended drink recipes, or talking too loud. Everyone's ultimately got a big soft spot for them though.

Vincotto is LITERALLY a grȧpe. He is my neopet, who is a grȧpe. Like he is simply a grȧpe. You have to understand that at the end of the day he is my neopet and he is a grȧpe. He is the purple golden boy of the household.

I had the plague and was in the middle of my mandatory isolated quarantine when I was struck with the strong urge to own a fruit Chia. After five hours of meticulous planning, Vincotto was born. I tell countless people in real life about him and how he's my neopet who is a grȧpe and they don't really know what I'm talking about. He's my little freaking gräpe. Would love it if neopets could let me write his colour normally

Karbiela has an air of mystery to her which tends to attract the attention of others, much to her chagrin. She's had a few run-ins with the law in her life, which in the eyes of her roommates just makes her seem even cooler. While she typically refuses to talk about her petty and not-so-petty theft days, she's still pleased with where she has ended up.
I adopted Karbiela around 2011 back when most converted painted pets had weeks-long adoption processes. I created a whole pet page app with a convoluted tragic backstory (sadly lost and forgotten now) and I used to lie there and imagine a montage of her life to the song "Blow Me One Last Kiss" by P!nk when I was like 13.

She has a nihilistic outlook on life that tends to exhaust everyone around her but she lets everyone play whatever the Neopian version of Minecraft is so they like her well enough.

Full of cursed knowledge spanning many lifetimes but everyone is too busy dunking on her to ask.

Part-time Barista, part-time hobby cosplayer. Zane enjoys dressing as Usukis and various Neopian figures and she takes it very seriously. She can be quiet and hard to read at first, but once she gets excited she won't shut up. She takes her work home with her a lot when half the household has her make them drinks so they can avoid Meep's smoothie concoctions.

Zane was the result of my one and only UC trade chain which started with a well-named gray draik back in 2014 or so. I had actually worked my way up to a UC Faerie Ixi, but after struggling with a chracter for over a year I found myself drawn to the UC Usukiboy. I made the trade a few short months before the NCUC release. Everyone who I showed it to hated it.

Daryosa is a collector. She can be found in her extremely decorated bedroom, usually adding more items. She has a natural allure and charm, an affinity for crafting, and a flair for the dramatic. She can be expected to be beautiful and just a little scary on an average day. She welcomes guests though and will never fail to be a perfect host.

I created Daryosa as a petsona for my girlfriend, who created a matching Wocky for me, as our 2024 Valentine's Day activity. Hours were spent on Dress to Impress and even more hours were spent trading NC prior to the pet creation to ensure everything was all set for their births.

Jamielle braved the lab ray for over half a decade of her life and is glad to finally be retired. She spends most of her time now creating tea blends and inviting her roommates and other acquaintances to try them out and maybe gossip a little. Or a lot. Or maybe start a rumour or two. Or fabricate an entire story that goes on to ruin someone's life. She has fun.

I adopted Jamielle as a green lupe from the pound in 2012 with the intent of making her my labrat for a bit. She was then my labrat for 7 years and didn't really turn into anything I was particularly inspired by so one day I just said forget it *morphs and paints into a strawberry gnorbu*. I think this was always meant to be her final form.

Apselene is a six-legged space archaeologist who has trouble connecting with people and tends to throw herself into her work a little too intensely. Sometimes she can get so immersed with her mysterious skulls & cool rocks that she'll even forget how lonely she is! She's out of town (or off planet) frequently for her work, but the gang is always sure to keep a room ready for her upon her returns.
Apselene was traded for a Water Draik I had labbed around 2014. I found it so cute that she happened to be a Cancer and that her name was a Moon Thing (Cancer's associated planet) (this was during my astrology phase). I remember hiding in the bathroom at my restaurant job to accept the trade.

Mae lives in the walls. She's quietly been there since Izaelia bought the place so they can't really evict her or anything despite the fact that she doesn't pay rent. She's a lovely and cheerful presence in the home at least and prevents Cap from ki.lling everyone's petpetpets.
Tapinomae was a result of my ant obsession of 2020 - present. I think they are the coolest insect of all time and they are endlessly fascinating to me. I had a phase where I was watching a lot of ant videos and decided I needed a Ruki. She's named after an ant genus.

Known around town as "Baby Gloobah", she. I honestly don't know. I really can't figure out what in the world to do with Baby Gloobah. She was an impulsive pet creation while I was stranded for five hours at the car mechanic. She is solely based off of a strange character my sister invented when we were children who was named Baby Glooba which in turn was a reference to one line from Baby Kate in an episode of Arthur. I don't know what Gloobah has got going on here. She barely had anything going on back then. She was just a scary baby. She shares a birthday with Jimin from BTS.

Neeccy is a magician for children's birthday parties, though he hopes to make it big eventually. He cheats a little since he can fade in and out of sight at will.
I adopted Neeccy as an invisible Eyrie from the pound around 2011 when I was in grade 7. I actually got quite invested in him, but lost access to the side account he was on for about a decade and assumed he'd be another pet lost to time. I was pleasantly surprised when I decided on a whim to submit a ticket for the account in 2024 and I got access again! He needs a lot of work but I'm excited to have him back.

Baysko is the official unofficial leader of the Ragtag Crokabek Gang. Like, she's definitely the leader, but it's sort of an unspoken thing, and even though Mazalle actually thinks it's herself who's the leader, it's really Baysko. She's rash and witty and quick to action, perhaps to a fault sometimes. She has a mild gambling problem when it comes to Food Club and stans Gooblah the Grarrl. She was alone from a young age so she's very street smart and self sufficient, but has to admit it's nice not being alone for the first time in a long time.
I impulsed Baysko in a trade with my Robot Xwee labrat in 2014 or so even though I had no plans in mind. But when I figured it out six years later she was so worth it.

Jynlio kinda just appeared outta nowhere one day and started tagging along with the group. No one really complained because she ended up being super chill and pretty good at a variety of musical instruments, and everyone liked having the background music. Her nonchalant demeanor aside, it turns out she's actually a Princess who was supposed to be next in line for the throne in a nearby kingdom who peaced it out of apathy and laziness and left pure chaos in her wake. She's trying not to think about that right now though, she's just trying to play tunes and see the world with her new buds.
I adopted Jynlio from a pc UFQA board. She was Electric when I got her, then painted biscuit for a minute, then she also sat around a while until I finally worked out her deal and painted her royal!

Mazalle recruited the group for back up on a job one day and then they just never really left. appears very "rough 'n tough" on the surface but she is ultimately a very gentle soul. She's got a pure heart and puts a lot of emphasis on her and the gang's morality (despite everyone else clearly having a much lower standard). She's very touchy and huggy with everyone, and is an immensely powerful swordsman & archer. Her abilities are probably wasted on the gang's very low-stakes adventures but at least she's having fun.
Mazalle was a rare occurrence where I came up with a character first and then worked out a pet around that. I wanted a species & colour I'd never owned before and landed on Skunk Kyrii. I got Mazalle through Lost and Pound in 2020 and morphed her right away!

Valdorik simply does not know what is going on at any given moment. He could be an extremely powerful wizard if he took like two seconds to try and hone his sk.ills, but similarly to Jynlio and Mazalle he would prefer to shirk his potential and just have a good time with his pals. One thing about Valdorick is he WILL be wearing the most stylish and/or outlandish boots you've ever seen. He and Baysko were a travelling duo until everyone else slowly joined.
I got a Draik egg from the Forgotten Shore in 2015 or so and decided to just go for it. I ended up trading that Draik away for another Draik, who then inspired this character with its name, but then immediately got a trade offer I couldn't pass up. So I made the trade, created a whole NEW draik with a similar name, and Valdorik lives on. Thank you deflation of Draiks.

And who could forget Dear Ratboy. There's no way to say this without being demeaning, but Shrewlet is like the gang's wacky pet. She's on her own rules and schedule and does as she pleases since she had a rough upbringing. She walks around naked all the time because she hates the clothing options for Mutants. The rest of the gang is surprised she hasn't fully gone rogue and disappeared into the night yet, but they're glad she's stuck around.
I'd owned another mutant Xweetok long ago but adopted her out after losing interest and needing space. The new pet slots made my old dreams reality again and I decided I needed a little rat baby once more in 2020. I had to wait out an inflation attempt for the potion, but was gald I did because the patience allowed me to later find this perfect name through Lost and Pound.

Sir Walurbie is a nuisance. At some point during their travels, the Ragtag Crokabek Crew drew the ire of a low-tier nobleman of a small kingdom. They don't even remember what they did. But Sir Walurbie remembers. As a result he's made it his mission to follow the gang around and present himself as a mild inconvenience that they have to deal with before they can get on with enjoying themselves again. They usually just kinda beat him up and leave him wherever he found them, but he always comes back.
Walurbie is named after a Lupe I owned for years but had adopted out after needing space. I was reminiscing about him and wanted to bring him back somehow, and a rival to the gang felt like a fun niche to fill. I wanted a species I'd never owned before and couldn't resist the swag of the RB Meerca.

Branteen is a popular, well-loved, sword-wielding princess. When you first meet her, she is sweet as pie and the most exemplary warrior: brave, kind, and always willing to do the right thing. Except when doing the right thing is at an inconvenience to her. Unseen to most, Branteen's true greatest ability is manipulating those around her, however subtly, to ensure that she gets what she wants. With the Princess gone, Branteen decides to put her experise to the test in a bid for the now-empty throne.
One day around 2012 there was a classic "post your dreamies" board on the pc and I just threw out my RG Yurble wish not really expecting anything. Next thing I know I've got a mail from a wonderful stranger offering to morph and paint one of their pets into a RG Yurble to gift me. It was the kindest neo-thing anyone's ever done for me and I wrote about it in my diary that night.

Kyzenu is a Palace Guard who technically doesn't have any leverage in the bid for the throne, but that's not going to stop her from concocting a plan. She was the closest friend to the Princess before her disappearance, and in knowing her is certain she's just selfishly up and left everyone and is unharmed chilling somewhere. She feels betrayed by this, but figures it's in her best interest to continue the "concered best friend" act. Kyzenu can be pretty gruff and short, but has a wild streak and enjoys messing with people just to watch things burn.
I owned a faerie grarrl ages ago who I ended up trading away after losing inspo. In 2019 I came up with a design for one and decided I wanted to get one again. Another super lucky instance of posting about it on a "tell us your dreamies" board and someone so kindly gifted me a faerie pb! Another Lost and Pound name & morph.

Leicie is a Duchess of the Palace who's previous priorities began and ended with the upkeep of the expansive Castle Garden. Of course she wasn't doing any actual physical labour, Fyora Forbid, but her keen visual eye and intimate knowledge of plants allowed the garden to flourish. Priorities are shifting in the Princess's absence however, and Leicie's eye moves from the Garden to the Throne. Her love of plants comes with knowledge of natural poisons, which may come in handy as tensions rise. Leicie is rather snobbish and difficult to get along with, but at least she's beautiful.
When I was 12 I had unsuccessfully applied for a few faerie Lennies until I found Leicie and put together a petpage app. I was chosen, and while I was thrilled I distinctly remember being a LITTLE bummed because the owner who was quitting sent me a nm along the lines of "whatever, Leicie is yours. I just don't care anymore."

Selyn is extremely cruel and extremely pretty. Selyn and her twin brother are directly in line for the throne now that the heir has disappeared, and her main goal is to make sure the Princess does not return from wherever she's sauntered off to. Selyn has a reputation of being rather power-hungry, leading to rumours that she has a direct hand in the Princess's disappearance. She's paying this hearsay no mind however, knowing that if all goes well she should be instated to the throne any day now. Her weak-willed brother won't be a challenge after all. The other royals though? She may have more competition than she's willing to admit.
Another lucky adopt from a pc ufqa board back in the day. In case it isn't clear by now Xweetoks are my favourite pets and I just can't resist a pretty one up for grabs. I knew I wanted her to be mean & pretty and it eventually escalated into this.

Selyn's twin brother. Sauli is basically Selyn's foil in the sense that he wants as little to do with this Royalty drama as possible. The Princess had the right idea by vanishing in his opinion. Selyn tries to use him as her puppet in her schemes, but he's just kinda skittish and useless. Everyone's convinced he's just playing dumb to snatch the throne at the last moment, but he & Selyn both know that he literally could not care less. He's more concerned about the fact that the band he started with the Princess is effectively broken up in her absence.
Sauli was a result of me thinking about my neopets at midnight while trying to sleep and his character popping into my head fully formed. I traded a dn UC Mutant Scorchio for a RB Xwee custom on this name lol because my brain required Selyn's brother to also be a five letter name that started with an S.

A sorceress who lives in the Castle. Or rather under the Castle. She was originally under contract of the Queen before the current ruler but has just kinda stuck around. Everyone's pretty sure she's immortal through some sketchy spellwork and they all tend to stay away from her if they can. She doesn't like or respect anyone around her but does enjoy watching the drama play out. She wonders when everyone will stop being obsessed with each other for long enough to notice that all the civilians of the Kingdom actually already instated their own Democracy like three months ago.
Another pc ufqa pet hehe I really make it look like I didn't earn half my pets. I originally wanted her because her name is very cool and I wanted to premium perk her into a Cybunny for now defunct character role. I'm glad I changed my mind because she fits in best here!

Faviny is a medium by day and a psychic by night. Her connection with the Spiritual Realm is incredible but sadly her communication abilites are pretty poor and she tends to offend spirits more than bring anyone peace. She and Xanithae have of course a very neo friendly completely platonic relationship I CAN SAY THEY'RE GAY NOW and work together a lot as Xan summons spirits in her line of work. Fav also dabbles in witchcraft, astrology, and tarot reading, making her a jack-of-all trades for anything off-base.
Fav was my first and only three way trade back in the days when converted trading was a lot bigger. I think this was a random "I want a Halloween Kougra" moment that I posted and sorted out the trade within the day, I think for a Robot Xwee?

Another fan of the occult who works closely with her dearest Faviny. I say "works" as if it's a job or a career, but it's really just the two of them messing around in a cabin in the woods out of boredom. Xan especially likes testing the patience of any demon that she manages to summon, despite all the warnings against it in their Ritual Guidebooks. She likes to laugh, especially when she shouldn't.
Similar to Valdorik, I got a Krawk mp from the Forgotten Shore and decided to just go for it and make one so I could flex on my impovershed child self. I handpainted her Halloween and Camo since I always admired that crosspaint. I had a more serious story in mind for her at first but it eventually faded into "goth mean girl".

Triktus is a Demon Boy who was summoned by Xan and Fav but due to some sloppy errors they were unable to ever permanently close the portal he came through. Luckily he's fairly chill, although he's rather unbearable to be around as he flirts with anything that moves. Everyone tries to ignore him which really bugs him and makes him become 10x more obnoxious. He makes his rounds through all these pets in attempts for attention. He's an eboy dog demon okay that's all I got

An alien Librarian who, despite knowing the demands of the field of Library Science, still wishes they could just sit and stare at books all day instead of assisting the public. They have beef with Apselene from the early days of Apselene's research when she learned that this creature would be NO help whatsoever to her but that their library has some very rare books so she has no choice but to keep returning. Xan and Fav steal books from them and Triktus likes to harass them whenever possible.
I was obsessed with Mutant Acaras since the second they came out and after one of my haituses in 2014 I returned to find a VERY cheap transmog on the tp for like 2mil ish? and while that was almost ALL of my neopoints at the time I HAD to go for it.

Vladislaf is a wraith and also a vampire, though the two conditions are unrelated. She adorns the skin of a faerie Acara when she wants to be a little less off-putting in public. She's also Zanide's cousin. I'm still kind of working her whole deal out.

Mesliia just wants to find love!!! She also happens to be a crudely reanimated ball of skinless flesh. She expresses herself by adorning various skin suits of dubious origin and fit. She is doing her best!!!
I actually had Mesliia as a pound adopt way back in 2011 or so. Her personality was essentially only asking for hugs and nothing else. She was an Kougra who I put under the lab ray, turning her orange and then mutant, and then I accidentally locked her on a side account that I lost access to. She was returned to me when I submitted a ticket on a whim in 2024! She was meant to return as my lab rat for a bit until I was struck with the urge to own a Zombie Jubjub after seeing their genuinely sort of nasty (complimentary) design. Morphed accordingly!

Tulip652 brings the utmost joy to everyone around her at all times. She is a beacon of light and she is perfect and most of all she is pink.
In early 2020, three nights in a row, I saw a board on the PC advertising a "pink techo ufqa". Every single night the board had no takers, not even a pity "good luck!". I prayed someone would adopt her, but every night without fail the board appeared for about 20 min with no responses. I couldn't take it anymore. Tulip652 deserved better. I neomailed the owner and adopted her, filled with more joy than any other beautiful pet I've ever acquired. The last nm I received from the previous owner was "please take good care of her. she is a good techo." and that inexplicably made me cry. She IS a good techo. Painted her Valentine to further embody Love in Sept 2024.
