first snow of this winter. relieved to have arrived home before it started.

walked to the coffee shop on break with Dasha, who came to visit me bearing fried cottage cheese.
poured snow on us suddenly while we walked there, tiny hard round flakes like the fake snow in a snowglobe.

watched my old college's production of Heathers in the evening. it felt very full circle as college was where I looped the Heathers cast recording the most while working on projects. they did a great job!

butter chicken and cider at Maxim's. was supposed to be a board/card game night, but thankfully we ended up yapping for four hours instead.

cleaned the living room thoroughly for most of the day. moved the coffee table to vaccuum. mopped even.

marked my completed tasks on the chore chart as Feb 8th for some reason.

saw a puff of white from a chimney or laundry vent against the morning sky and thought about how when Kira and I were kids and used to claim all chimney emmissions were people farting up them

long day. meetings. used needing to drop something off at the post office as an excuse to get lunch and coffee with Cindy.

Wedding. Mom insisted we go the bubble tea shop between the Ceremony and the Reception because it was J-Hope's Birthday Celebration and she collects the cupsleeves.

met Kira's new cat Jude. all-black, beautiful green eyes, excellent ear shape. he was shy but still let me pick him up.

Earthquake. office wall shook for approximately two seconds. feels like there have been lots of small omens as of late.

the dental hygienist kept telling me I have beautiful teeth. had my favourite conversation where the dental professional asks "have you had braces before?" and I get to go "No :)" and they go "Wow! Such straight teeth! Amazing!" and I smirk internally.

lover returns. watched the Russian children's musical film The Rock and Roll Wolf which she paintstakingly subtitled in English by hand so I could watch it.

WFH with a twist. still depressed.

woke up feeling the most miserable I've felt in a minute for no reason. stayed strong and went to the gym before work. watched this youtube video on the treadmill. attempted arms after but thought I might faint.
